KARMA ROAD: Getting Off the Round About! is a true story about Freda’s discovery that she seems to be the reincarnation of a nineteenth century author. The mystery revolves around a novel by George Eliot. Reading the book, Freda was shocked to find that the details inside the book seemed to be a rubber stamp of her own life!
Freda pressed on with her research and compiled a list of over fifty parallels between Eliot and herself. With a physicist as her mentor, a psychologist and past life reader as a guide, and her English professor husband as her daily support, she reached into the past, pulled it into the present and looked it squarely in the eye. She seemed to be reliving George Eliot’s life!
The real cliff-hanger came when Freda learned that George Eliot died of kidney failure at #4 Cheyne Walk. The street address is pronounced the same as Freda’s last name: Chaney. Freda had been prone to kidney infections as a child, and Freda's doctor had recently warned her about the possibility of kidney failure! Karma be gone!
